Skating Sessions
Heartland Ice Arena hosts a wide variety of Open Freestyle sessions each week, providing athletes of all ages, and varying skill levels, an opportunity to work on their skills, get in a workout, and have some fun. Please review the rules, waiver and scheduling approval process required to take the ice before arriving at the arena to skate.

Open Freestyle Information:
Open Freestyle ice is for competitive skaters (adult and youth) to use for practice time throughout the day and for private lessons. Beginner skaters or Skate School skaters may also use for private lessons and extra practice, depending on their age and skating level. Heartland Skating Academy offers a pre-purchased punch card for participants wishing to attend open freestyle sessions. Punch cards can be redeemed at any scheduled open freestyles. Walk-On open freestyle is available for $15 for one hour or less and $25 for the entire session. Payment must be made in advance and is accepted via electronic payment only. Please contact Skating Director molly@heartlandicearena.com for guest coaches insurance or any other questions. *REMINDER* Skaters must present their punch card and sign-in before entering the ice surface. |
